Cde Mphutlane wa Bofelo was has a vast experience in Popular Education and Critical Pedagogy. He has been active in Student Activism and Student Governance, Sociopolitical Activism, Youth Development, Adult-Literacy, Community Development, Revolutionary Theatre, Cultural Activism and Worker-Education at various points in his life. He is the author of six books of poetry, fiction and social commentary and literary criticism essays. His works has appeared in various journals, including McGill Journal of Education, Pambazuka News, Itch, Laugh it Off, Botsosto, Bliksem, Fidelities, New Coin and Centre of Civil Society –Ukzn online Library. Bofelo is a contributors to Crossing the lines: RPL as Specialised Pedagogy., edited by Linda Cooper, Alan Ralphs; and in Biko Lives: Contesting the Legacies of Steve Biko, edited by Andile Mngxitama, Amanda Alexander and Nigel Gibson. He is currently working on a chapter for a book in Worker Education in South Africa to be edited Linda Cooper, Sheri Hamilton, due to be published in 2017. Mphutlane currently serves the College as an education practitioner across multiple disciplines.
